Restaurant Valuations

Leisure Business Advisors (LBA) specializes in valuations and business appraisals for leisure businesses such as restaurants. This typically involves three approaches:

• Income - Financial performance is evaluated and capitalized.

• Market - Sales of similar restaurants are examined and their experience applied to the restaurant being valued. 

• Asset - The current value of equipment and other assets is estimated.   

John Gerner, our managing director, has conducted many valuations, all of which included food service operations. He conducted a feasibility study for a Dick Clark's American Bandstand restaurant in Florida, and for other restaurants in Pennsylvania, Alabama, Iowa, and Bermuda. He evaluated a new restaurant concept for Marriott Corporation and rated foodservice concessionaires for the Cincinnati Zoo.
